The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit

Health Services

Public Health

We conduct preventive medicine and communicable disease control, occupational health, food safety, deployment medicine, and disaster response programs. Public Health provides programs for both individuals and groups to clearly communicate risks and hazards in the workplace, and best practices to safeguard health. The department also manages and maintains the Individual Medical Readiness Program, gathers data and provides reports to unit deployment managers and commanders. For travel recommendations and requirements, please see Public Health for detailed information on recommendations or requirements for travel before seeing the immunizations clinic. Make sure you come in with a current copy of your shot record and your traveler’s worksheet that is made for you at public health.
