The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

During this partial government shutdown, the 4th Medical Group remains open and continues to honor scheduled medical and dental appointments. Our patient appointing service is open and we're still taking requests for appointments. We're doing our best to minimize impact on our beneficiaries and their health care. The clinic’s primary care, specialty care, and ancillary services (pharmacy, laboratory, radiology) remain operational. As always, safe, and high-quality health care remain our priority. Your comments are valued and aid in maintaining an effective working relationship with you, our valued beneficiaries.

Should you have any questions or concerns about your healthcare, you can complete a customer comment card located throughout the facility, we encourage you to speak with a section advocate first, and if you are unable to resolve your concerns, please contact the Patient Advocate Manager.

Patients have the right to make recommendations, ask questions, or file grievances to the military treatment facility Patient Advocate. If concerns are not adequately resolved, patients have the right to contact The Joint Commission at 800-994-6610, or by submitting a concern or complaint online.
